The Chamber has a new home! The Whitehouse Chamber has a new home! The Chamber Council is very excited to announce a long time goal has been achieved! We now have a building that we will be able to have office hours and have promotional materials to help advertise our Chamber members! Our new address is 6807 Providence St, Whitehouse Ohio 43571. It is the little building next to the Whitehouse Inn. There will be office hours listed at a later time! We are excited for this new move! Thank you for all the support and the donations that made this move possible! From the President The Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce is nearing the 100 member mark very soon and with that our programs and services that we offer our members are expanding into additional opportunities and initiatives. In the coming weeks and months, with the expanded use of our Chamber website, local newspaper outlets, and possibly television we will be revealing programs that will assist our members to increase and drive traffic to their businesses and home-based businesses. We are positioning ourselves to be a destination for people all over to come visit us and our great places to see and things to do in Whitehouse. The Whitehouse Cherry Fest is also part of the 2009 Greater Toledo Official Visitors Guide, published by the Greater Toledo Convention & Visitors Bureau. For the first time, The Whitehouse Chamber has invested in the Ohio Magazine to promote the Cherry Festival. The June edition of the magazine will feature our festival in its events area as well as on their website at www.ohiomag.com, with photos of the festival. The Ohio Magazine serves energetic and involved Ohioans by providing stories and pictures of Ohio's most interesting people, arts, entertainment, history, homes, dining, family life, festivals and regional travel. Thus the demographics of this news outlet are specific for our target market of festival visitors because they are hunting for areas to visit and for getaways. This subscriber and newstand based publication generates 80,000 pieces per month across the state, with 10,000 subscribers here is Northwest Ohio. This opportunity will allow us to begin branding our Village on a state level to attract people, establish their business here, and move families here, which adds to our potential customer base. The Chamber has completed the application process for nomination of "Ohio's Best Hometown" distinction which is selected by the editors of Ohio Magazine and one town is chosen per each of the five regions in the state.
